At the Japanese Tea Selection Paris 2019, the only Japanese tea competition in Paris, “Tokusen Fukamushicha” won the Gold Award and “Maremono” won the Silver Award. We would like to thank all of you for your support.

The “Japanese Tea Selection Paris” has been held since 2017, and this year is the third time for many Japanese tea producers to participate.
The competition is held under the supervision of the Japanese tea ambassador to France, who is appointed by the Japan Tea Instructor Association, and the judging is conducted strictly. A total of four rounds of judging are conducted by a panel of judges ranging from ordinary French people to top chefs in the French culinary world and buyers in the French tea industry.
